Ward Volunteers are an integral part of the inpatient experience. They support over 35 wards in Lyell McEwin and Modbury Hospitals. Ward volunteers provide comfort to patients and their families. They also assist Nursing staff with the day to day activities.

Companion Volunteers

As a companion volunteer, you'll bring a little bit of brightness to the patients and their families, offering emotional support, engaging conversations, and a helping hand with day-to-day activities. From chatting about current events to playing games together, your presence will brighten their days and make a real difference in their journey towards wellness.
